The new riser pipe has been installed and the water tower is in the process of filling. The City of New Market is in a boil advisory until further notice.
Water tower work

Work began to install a new riser pipe on the water tower this week. While the water tower is empty you may notice fluctuations in water pressure. The work should be completed in a week or two. Once the work is completed we will be in a boil advisory until further notice.

As part of the continued water main replacement project the exterior piping for the pump house is getting hooked up today, Monday, July 14th. This will put the City of New Market in a boil advisory until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
