As part of the continued water main replacement project the water tower is getting hooked up today, April 30th. This will put the City of New Market in a boil advisory until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

April Council Meeting

The April 17th Council Meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 24th at 7 pm. On the 24th there will also be a FY26 Budget Hearing at 6:30 pm and a FY25 Budget Amendment Hearing at 6:45 pm.

Boil Advisory starts Monday, April 14th!

4/11/2025

Southwest Regional Water District will be finalizing the permanent repair on the East Nodaway River crossing on Monday, April 14th, 2025. The water will go off at 8:00 am while the bore is tied in. Upon return of service, a boil advisory will be in effect until further notice. The following townships will be affected Nebraska, East River, and Buchanan in Page County and Dallas, Mason, and Polk Townships in Taylor County. This will impact the City of New Market. While we might not lose water due to water stored in the water tower, we will be in the Boil Advisory. Watch for updates on Facebook, the sign, and at www.newmarketia.com.
